Facilities Include: Game Room with Billiard Tables and Video games, TV Room/Board Game Room, Concession Stand, 2 Wallyball/Racquetball Courts and 2 High School Regulation Basketball Courts.
Come and enjoy open gym at the Sid Carr gymnasium located in the F.O. Moxley Recreation Center. Cost is $2 for an ID and that's good for a year!
Open Gym Hours (subject to change): Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30 pm
When City Schools are not in session, center hours are 9:00 am-5:30 pm
When County Schools are not in session, center hours are 11:00 am-7:00 pm
A lively racquet game for all ages and abilities. Pickleball was created with one thing in mind: fun. It was designed to be easy to learn and play whether you're five, eighty-five or somewhere in between.

Senior Adult Crafts
Monthly crafts from now thru May on the second Wednesday of each month at Hospitality House Housing Authority and second Thursday of each month at Community Action Senior Center.

Mommy & Me
Come join other mommies and enjoy fellowship while your little one participates in free play time, as well as arts and crafts. This is a great opportunity for your child to develop motor skills, cognitive skills, social skills, and you can make new friends!

Summer Fun Camp: Junior Counselor in Training
Looking for young, teenage volunteers who want to learn a skill and gain experience in the field of recreation as a Junior Camp Counselor. Applications must be submitted online at bgky.org/hr/jobs by March. Interviews will be conducted. Space is limited.

Youth Dodgeball League
Duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to a great time. This program is a supervised event that includes fun, meeting new friends, and a great way for improving your health and fitness.

Kids Knead a Little Dough
Spend the day learning to bake bread while we clean up the mess! You’ll go home with a loaf of bread you made yourself and the skills to recreate it at home. All supplies provided. Space is limited to a bakers’ dozen (13).

Summer Fun Camp
What do you want to do this summer? There’s something for everyone! Summer was designed to give kids a break from school and help them try new experiences and grow mentally, physically, and socially. Whether your child wants to be introduced to new innovative games, get creative, play, learn magic, cook, fish or explore the great outdoors, F.O. Moxley Community Center Summer Fun Day Camp has something to offer.
Registration Dates: April 10—May 5, 10:00 am—6:00 pm
Note: $35 non-refundable registration fee and 1st week camp fee due at registration.
Camp Dates: Session I: May 30—June 23, Session II: July 3—28
No camp June 26—30 and July 4
Ages: 5—13 years old (5 year olds must have attended full-day Kindergarten)
Weekly Fees: If attending 2 or more weeks you will be required to pay a $35 non-refundable registration fee per child, per session.
Early Drop-off: 7:00 am—5:30 pm, $65 per week
Regular Drop-off: 8:15 am—5:30 pm, $50 per week
Fee Waiver Regular Drop-off, $40 per week

Healthy Choices for Everybody
Healthy Choices for Everybody is a nutrition education curriculum designed for teaching nutrition, cooking skills, food budgeting, and promoting physical activity.

Camp Out/Camp In
Treat yourself to a fun experience under a starry “ceiling” night. Participants will enjoy a fun night of games and crafts. Then bed down at the “campsite” for a goodnight rest. Campers will then awake to the morning bell to eat a hearty breakfast and then venture home. Space is limited to 50 participants.

Biddy Ball Basketball League
Not old enough or big enough to play? This league is just for you. Youth ages 3—5 years old can learn the basic fundamentals of basketball and have fun playing weekly games against each other. Teams will fill up fast – 8 children per team. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. There will be a mandatory parent/coaches meeting TBA.

Game Days: Saturdays, September 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14
